as we wake to each new day,
we never know what life will bring our way,

for life is a mystery in its self,
not knowing whether we’ll live the life of poverty or wealth.

we never know whether we’ll laugh or cry,
things can change within a blink of an eye.

whether you live in a box or a million dollar home,
just remember that in life your never alone.

you are no better than the person next to you,
nor you are no less than the person next to you.

for when you peel away the layer of skin,
we are all the same within.
