ashqon ko aankhon mein aaj mushkil rok paana tha,
jazbaat aye dil thukraye, mushkil maut ko rok pana tha,

dost banne the kabhi honton pe muskurahat liye,
aaj baat na ki usne, mushkil waqt ko rok pana tha,

aankh nam hai to kya aaj hum uff na kare to kya,
zakham mile dil ko, mushkil cheekhon ko rok pana tha,

chalte rahe andhe vishwas pe, sochti samajhti hai woh,
halaton ko natak kaha, mushkil duniya ko rok pana tha,

apne dil ki keh woh kahi khush hai mujhse door hoke,
nafarat hai mujhse suna, mushkil lafzon ko rok pana tha,

gusse ki aag mein jala di mera pyar us jalim ne,
khatam rishta sun mushkil shamshan ke kadam rok pana tha,

khatam na jane kis pal ye zindagi, saccha pyar ho jayega,
rakh-e-pyar me mushkil khud ko dafn hone se rok pana tha.
