I wish you all.. Happy New Year

we have seen the passing of another year,
for many it’s been filled with pain and tears.

we have seen our loved ones in their decline,
we have had to accept that they won’t be fine.

some of us had to say good bye,
to a long time loved one and we have all cried.

but there have been times in this past year,
that certain events have brought us cheer.

there are so many friends that are on the list,
and I know there’s names I will have missed.

but better friends I could not have bought,
and here is just a new year’s thought.

if it were possible that a wish could come true,
then this is my new year’s wish for you.

may the coming year be full of hope,
and may we be given the strength to cope.

let courage, faith and patience abound,
and let us pray that a cure will be found.

and now at the close of another year,
my friends, I wish you a Happy New Year.

12 mahino ka intejaar,
phir tum aate ho har saal,
dilon ke beech dooriya,
kuch palon ke liye hi sahi,
mita dete ho har saal,

har koi ek dusre se,
happy new year,
kehne ko hai bekaraar,
mehfilein zama dete ho,
nacha dete ho har saal,

gujre waqt ka andhera,
mita dete ho har saal,
nayi ummeedein,
naye armaan sabke dilon mein,
jaga dete ho har saal,

ab aa bhi jaao na,
mat karwao intezaar,
tere swagat ko,
hum sab hai taiyaar.

live life to its fullest

life is like flowing water,
if it stops..

it gets stagnated.

if it flows.. 

it turns into a waterfall,
a stream, a river and ocean. 

similarly life has joys and worries,
but its like sunrise after night, 

so after each sad event,

there is a happy event,
so live life to its fullest,
enjoy each second of life.

life is precious, 

respect it,
thank thou for it. 

two cup of tea

do you like a cup of tea?
a nice refreshing brew
I find that one is not enough
and often I need two.

when I hear the kettle call
one click the waters boiling,
at once I pour it on the leaves
before the brew be spoiling,

I take it to the table
without a single splash,
to rest beneath its cosy
and leave it there to mash.

the larder holds my biscuits
a simple little snack,
they soak up my first cup of tea
and now I am going back. 

2020 ho kuch aisa..

meri chah hai naya saal ho kuch aisa,
na ho jismein koi kisi ka dil dukhane wala,

duniya mein nahi hai jinka koi,
naye saal mein ho unko koi gale lagane wala,

ujadi huyi aankhein jinki zindagi mein hai andhera,
naya saal ho unhein dobara sapne dikhane wala,

tannha aur udaas logon ke aashiyano mein,
naya saal ho khushiyon ki baarish karne wala,

dukh, dard, dushmani sab ko mitakar,
naya saal ho sabse dosti karane wala.

don't listen to the stories
from people who would scare,
and anything that worries you
with friends be sure to share.

look not for ghosts or monster
where spiderweb fill a house,
if anything moves by its self
it might just be a mouse.

the darkness hides no terrors
only what's within your head,
what you believe will do no harm
but check beneath your bed.
